Pearl Free Floating Brass Snare Drum 14" x 3.5" FBN1435/C

Possibly the Most "Heard and Watched" snare drum in History. This is the legendary snare played by JEFF PORCARO when he taught the Rosanna Shuffle as featured on the Star Licks instructional video released in 1988. The average count that a drummer could have watched this segment of the video is un-countable. 

FBN1435/C Free Floater is a piccolo snare with a free-floating system in which the shell is sandwiched between the aluminum chassis attached to the bottom of the snare and the butter side hoops.

No lugs are attached to the shell, maximizing the thick, warm sound characteristic of brass shells and allowing for a more open sound.

The SR-160F strainer has a lock function, preventing problems such as the lever coming off even if the snapper tension is loose.
