This bass drum riser is made from a finish-safe poly-filled nylon, which won't break under normal use, that attaches just behind the batter-size hoop of your drum. This frees the batter head to resonate to its full potential, simultaneously allowing the use of your favorite kick drum pedals and beaters with bass drums as small as 16".

It's also great for double pedals, giving you the ability to position both beaters equidistant to the head's center for a more even tone.
